Diary of a whimpy kid...Rodrick rules...

SO if I admit that I had to pretend to NOT want to see this show, because I was afraid some might think I am too old..... would you think less of me?

OR if I admit I had to let my grand babies "TALK" me into going almost to the point of them begging me....Would that make me a terrible Nana?

Don't answer that!

Let's just pretend I had to go to this movie to help stimulate the movie theatre business & let the

seat be counted in the "movie census"!

I make no apologies to seeing this SUPER funny movie!

I loved, NO I adored the 1st "diary" movie. I was only slightly disappointed to see no "cheese touch" scene's in this movie...because that part just made me laugh & gave me plenty of good, funny line's for any thing in my life that grossed me know "EWWWW it's got "the cheese touch" while holding up a moldy sandwich or "I have the cheese touch, so I not possibly do the dishes or go to work"!

I also have to admit, I have kinda of a "old lady" crush on Rodrick! I'm not proud of it, but it happens...I think he just reminds me a tiny bit of Kevin, when he was younger...Minus the eyeliner & juicy lips!

I missed a good chunk of the 1st of the movie, (Babysitting the twins AND well worth the missing of the 1st of the movie! They are sooooooo cute!)

So we had to have the kids explain a tiny bit.

Greg is still desperate to be popular BUT he has grown a lot to know that friends are more important. Which is ironic because his BBF is Rawley is really quite popular & GREG is doing the "popular" thing riding on Rawley's coat tails.

Plenty of funny scene's, with plenty of clever lines. I loved that the mother is desperate for her 2 boys to be nicer to each other & she really wants them to bond. SO she leaves them home alone for a week-end with instructions to BE NICE & no party!

OF course you know what happens......a PARTY.....OR should I say the perfect "black mail scam" for Greg to do to Rodrick!

Some fun bonding does go on for the 2 brother, BEFORE "stuff" hits the fan!

I love the the part where Rawley is sleeping over to Greg's house & Rawley's mom sends "age Appropriate" movies for them to watch...YOU know the kind...the happy little elf's....the little engine who could( EVEN I would have known that for my kid at age 13..those movies would NOT have been AGE Appropriate!)

ANYWAY, even Rawley is a little embarrassed about the choice of movies his moms picked. BUT never fear, Greg has a solution...... the ultimate scary movie....THE foot!

Seriously, My honey & I were peeing our pants.....The movie was so cheesy it was funny, but of course the 2 boys think it was thee scariest movie ever! After they start dozing off "something" crawls in bed with them & scares the cookies right out of them......sooooo funny & that part makes the price of the movie a little bit easier to cough up!

Anyway, I don't want to give to much away, let's just say I would for sure give it at least 7 sticky

"reel" goods.

So nice to see something where I don't have to see any naked body parts(unless you count Greg running in his whitey tighties through Grandpas retirement center) & or couples uncomfortable fumbling in the back seat somewhere (unless you count Greg's dad carrying Greg off the roller rink had to feel sorry for him!)

AND really good to see a movie "potty mouth Free" movie!

Kevin & Rosie..... 33years & going strong! Pic's of Our "ANNYmoon in VEGAS!"

Kevin & celebrated out 33rd Wedding anniversary in Vegas. We took of Tuesday & came home on a Saturday. We had a BLAST! I loved having him all to myself! We stayed in the Flamingo. It was so pretty! They had a few newly remodeled rooms. Our room the 1st night was above the theatre, facing Ceasar's Palace...which sounds like a recipe for a nightmare...BUT it was the ALL NIGHT club
"PURE" that had LOUD, DRUM BEATING music.... ALL night long that kept Kevy awake! SOOO we changed rooms to the back of the hotel the next night....MUCH easier to sleep!
We got tickets to see "Legends" at the Harrahs.
FREAKING AWESOME!!! we heard from Liberace, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Marilyn Monroe, Micheal Jackson (MY FAVE) & ELVIS!!!
All right.... they were impersonator's
of those guys. BUT by dang they were all really great! I can check "meeting Elvis" OFF my bucket list!

For any "PAWN star" fan's (which I am!) I made Kevy go past it like 5 times so I could get a picture of it! I wanted to go in, BUT you have to pay money to go in! LAME!

Kevin, is trying to sneak a pinch on Marilyn's butt!! The cheeky Monkey!

The Flamigo's at the Hotel! SOOO cool to see!

This is at the car some hotel...YAWN! ALTHOUGH this
IS the original car from the Movie "it's a Wonderful life!" It is worth over a million dollars!

I won a Academy award!....I would like to thank my Husband & children & all my fans out there....

KEVIN!!!! Don't look up!

Some car show...YAWN...This car was called the "ROSE" it is a bright PINK! I love it...CAN you believe that Kevy wouldn't buy it for me!?

The next few are at the Madam Trussauds Wax Museum!

I taught her every thing she knows!

Wedding vows renewed!

Brad PITT kept trying to talk me into dumping Kevy....

Johhny Depp IS short!

Kevy, trying to talk Camron Deaz into running off with HIM!!!

We had so much FUN! We smooched & laughed & taklked & WALKED so much. I am very lucky! I was also reminded why I like him so much & why he is my favorite person in the world!
Happy 33rd Baby! I will love you forever!

2011 Valentines display at work "TiCkLeD PINK to be your Valentine"

Just a quick peek before I go down to watch "HOUSE"...I will explain the pics in a bit!
This little sweetie is Aaron! He was sweet enough to come in at 6:oo am to hang my "pink puff balls"! WHAT a sweet heart!

Thanks Aaron! I am scared to death of heights!
I made the balls using the gift wrapping tissue. It took me about 1 day to make them AND LIKE 6 days to undo them! I had forgotten to cut them at the ends to get that scallop look & so come of them look weird, but at this point I really did not care!

Larry the sign guy painted the sign for me, I just designed how I wanted it to look & He ran with it. He did it in 2 days! NICE! I hung about 8 yards of Glittery, gauzy light pink fabric from the sign so that it looked like a soft pink hue around the set-up.

YES, that is Nicky, "my gal Friday"
putting tutu's around the produce tables! I really wanted a girly girl look & 20 yard of pink Tulle is a must!

Karina & Devon were in charge of the stair steps.....It was harder then it looked!

One gal said that it looked like a beauty pageant stage......a "Thank you"?

These beautiful topiary cost ME $35 dollars to buy & when I took them down after Valentines because they did not sell (I had them marked at $49....I had the gals take the pink & red hearts hanging from the middle & FORGOT to put the price sticker back on AND my DUMB %*# grocery manger flippingly told the lady who asked the price on them...she could have them for $4...that's FOUR dollars.....I WANTED to KILL him! REALLY $4 dollars....I STILL have nightmares about that! Almost done, putting on product!

Looking so good!

These are candy bar vase arrangement Nicky & I put together! They were a big hit!

This is after set up..Us gal's wore PINK the rest of the week & on Valentines day! LOOOOOVED IT!

SOOOO what do you think? IS it a winner? My boss Josh loved it & said it was one of his Favorites that I have done so far!

asfoodstore or Corp. is HAVING a contest, I entered, but have not heard if I won yet! I will keep you posted!

The Tippetts Family Pumpkin contest 2010!!!

These two were Kevin's entry's for the night. HE cheats by having two tries! The "grinning Idiot" is one he craved in like under an hour! BUT MY fav. is the skeleton Pumpkin head! Does the wooden skeleton body look familiar?
IT is the "frame" from his Easter egg head!! He used it in the Tippetts Family Easter Egg decorating contest 2010! HA-HA! talk about recycle!

Medusa" pumpkin, rightly so won 1st place! He was so excited to win!
Taya's was the darling "too cute to scare" Vampire pumpkin.

Gunner's Cry baby. Super funny & cute! The twin's were fascinated by this pumpkin & kept saying
"Ohhhh Sad baby!" They are so tender hearted!

Shilo's super scary pumpkin is snack center between Mr. Potato head & Kevin's "grinning idiot" Pumpkin.

Notice the darling little pumpkin by Mr. Potato head? That is my Bella Boo's! She created that masterpiece in preschool & they "Lent" it out to us for one showing only! we were so lucky to have her participate in this mere mortal contest, as she is a PROFESSIONAL crafter!
ALSO a little further down in the front again, the small long oval, pumpkin is is Arbor's. HE insists you all know it is NOT just a painted pumpkin! IT is a simple, yet understated, "Picassoish" rendition titled "My nana's dog Zoe eat my shoe". The color pallet was left natural with only the subtle hint of color that reflects Arbors outrage at the "MAN"! Yes he is a genus!

This is Scooter's darling pumpkin! She took 3 of Kevin's home grown pumpkins & made a "scary snowman. Notice how the nose on the pumpkin is the stem! OH MY goodness she gets that from her mother!! VERY Clever! I think it is super cute AND it won 2nd prize!

STARLEE'S, She put a new meaning behind seeing "stars in her eyes"! HA-HA!

This is mine!! OK see those big luscious lips???

Did you know they don't make wax lips anymore!? IF they do I could not find any in the STATE OF UTAH! But I found WAX mustaches!! YES!!! I was pressed for time so I just took my wax mustache AND spray painted it red. Melted the inside & pressed them together & VOILA! Big, RED voluptuous LIPS! Maybe this would be a bit of a stretch for MR,. Potato head, but I am sure MRS. Potato head would have loved the
"lipo gone bad" lips!
